The award-winning Arkle restaurant was named after the famous steeplechaser owned by the late Anne, Duchess of Westminster. The Arkle is a gourmet restaurant and has retained its much coveted Michelin star for 18 consecutive years. The exceptional menu changes seasonally, and the emphasis is on using the very best, fresh local produce in imaginative and innovative ways. The Arkle's cellar is one of the most extensive in England with over 1000 bins from all over the world. With such a wide selection available, our resident Sommelier is on hand to assist with friendly advice and recommendations. Please note: The Arkle is unsuitable for children and therefore we have implemented a 12+ policy.

"WOW...I've never tasted food so good. It was truly scrumptious, and the texture and flavouring was truly perfect. I would tell everybody to taste the luxury of the Arkle, when they get the privilege to go to Chester. I for one will be coming again. Thank you very much for such an enjoyable meal. Me and my fiancee thoroughly enjoyed it."
